How should farm fresh eggs be cared for?

Farm fresh chicken eggs have something called bloom on them. This bloom isn’t on grocery store eggs and has benefits. For the longest lasting eggs you shouldn’t wash your eggs until you are ready to eat them. Wash in warm water without soap. Washed eggs can last about 2 months in the refrigerator while unwashed eggs can last 2 weeks on the counter or 3 months in the refrigerator. If you decide to wash your eggs before storing them make sure that the eggs are completely dry before placing them back into the container.
